**This position is CONTRACT to HIRE in SEATTLE**

Primary Responsibilities

• Effectively lead/train employees towards attaining a zero-accident environment

• Recommend improvement in processes, design, procedures, and operations to avoid/minimize hazard potential.

• Conduct daily jobsite inspections and document observations

• Recognize field safety violations, document and fix

• Understand and execute corporate safety programs for Health & Safety

• Review and execute existing site safety plans

• Conduct safety training orientations for all new hires

• Conduct regular employee safety training presentations

• Review and interpret technical information and advice management of requirements

Requirements:

• Strong background in OSHA AND Washington Labor and Industries compliance for construction

• Experience in accident/incident prevention, investigation, documentation, and reporting

• Experience in Job Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessment

• Highly organized & self-motivated

• Communicate/conduct presentations effectively at all levels of organization in a professional manner

• Bend, squat, walk, and climb stairs/ladders as needed for site inspections

• Must have valid driver’s license with clean driving record

• MS Office (Word, Excel PowerPoint, Outlook) proficient

Preferred Requirements:

• 10 hour/30 hour OSHA certification preferred

• OSHA Train the Trainer course completion preferred

• B.S. in Health & Safety preferred but not required
